About Us
Strategic Aviation Services (SAS) is a 501(c)(3) General Aviation social investment organization on a mission to transform Africa’s socio-economic landscape through the boundless opportunities aviation offers. Incorporated in West Africa and the U.S. in 2006 and 2007 respectively, SAS aims to leverage aviation as a catalyst for sustainable development and economic empowerment across the region.
A mile of road takes you a mile. A mile of runway takes you anywhere.
A town bypassed by aviation today risks being left behind, just as towns bypassed by railways were in the past.
Roads connect places. Runways connect possibilities.
Airlines connect cities. General aviation connects nations.
An airstrip is not a cost to a community. It is an investment in its future.
Where roads end, opportunity need not end. Aviation can take it further.
A runway is more than a strip of land. It is a lifeline to the world.
Aviation should not be the privilege of major cities; it should be an opportunity for every region.
General Aviation is not the alternative to commercial aviation; it is its foundation and complement.
A nation's aviation strength begins at its smallest airfields
